I'm Not Voting for You - The Manifesto of a Political Agnostic

I have just published my very independent political manifesto: I'm Not Voting for You. You will find it on the Amazon Kindle Store for $0.99.

I openly reject the two-party system we have in America now. Both the Democrats and the Republicans have brought us to growing national crisis and disgrace. I personally will not put up with it anymore. I am declaring my personal independence from national and state politics as it is now. I am refusing to vote for any incumbent, or for any candidate of a major party.

My Manifesto includes these 12 points:
  1. I’m Not Voting for You. This is the core of my protest.
  2. This Is Not a Democracy. We are a representative republic, and I expect our elected representatives to do their job.
  3. You Are Not That Important. I have a simple test to determine if a politician really is important enough to vote for.
  4. The Two-Party System Does Not Fit Me. Here I outline how my political views don't fit either major party.
  5. I’m Throwing Away My Vote. I reject the idea that if I don't vote for the two front runners, I am just throwing away my vote.
  6. Cleaning House… and Senate. If I could, I would vote every single congressman and senator out of office and start clean.
  7. It’s Not Consistency… Stupid. I think "consistency" as the candidates try to claim it is wrong and robotic.
  8. I Vote, So I Can Talk. Is my freedom of speech really dependent on my exercise of my right to vote?
  9. How to Get My Vote… Maybe. I have set my standards for a candidate to get my vote. And I'm sticking to them.
  10. Religion and Politics… O Brother! I do not condone attacks on candidates' beliefs.
  11. Networks Instead of Political Parties. Political parties are dinosaurs! There are better ways of getting things done.
  12. What Are We Afraid Of? Politicians are fear mongers, so I say bring it on!
I hope I'm Not Voting for You resonates with the majority of my fellow voters this year.
